Welcome back to The Latest - today’s blog is here to give you wedding inspiration based on a beautifully pastel pearlescent editorial we worked on.

We love using colour, and one of the main things to consider with colour palettes is the environment you are designing in - the venue.

The Venue

Preston Court is an interesting barn venue in Kent with a huge pastel organ which we used for inspiration for our colour palette for this editorial.

The colour palette

We designed to tie in with the organ, and built upon the duck egg blue with gold finishes. We added a soft pink, lilac, and light blue to the palette with an iridescent finish to lift the palette and give it a modern modern and 3D feel.

The dresses

Berta provided the bridal gowns and gold silk bridesmaids dresses are from Asos.

The cake

Even the cake and desserts followed the colour palette and carried the iridescent finish - such a perfectly executed design!
